Off with your jacket and on with an overall, a snood and overshoes and the show can begin. The Le Gal family - Véronique, Marc, Céline and Gwendal - will carefully explain every step in the process of preserving fish, and demonstrate the workings of the fridges, crimping machines, juicing, the autoclave for sterilisation, etc. They will explain the various fishing seasons, what to look for in choosing a good tin of sardines, for example, and then take you into the shop to see the full range of products. And you can't leave before the excellent tasting session - tuna soup, tuna à l'Armoricaine, fish pâtés of all kinds, sardines, of course, and seaweed tartare - amongst many others.
