  • The Domaine de Rochevilaine is truly a place for contemplation and discovering new flavours, particularly seafood, which is admittedly hard to avoid here!

    The fabulous setting of the Domaine de Rochevilaine is unique in Brittany, but the cuisine is wonderful too, prepared by Patrice Caillaut. A member of the 'Maître Cuisinier de France' association, Caillaut uses only the best Breton produce to create dishes like lobster thermidor, turbot in sauce diable (a peppery mustardy sauce) and royal de langoustine served with a velvety coriander consommé (clear soup). Why not give in to temptation and order the lobster menu with three differently prepared courses including lobster in home-grown herbs, roasted in butter and lobster claws in sauce diable? And as there’s no doubt that once you’ve crossed the 13th century porch you won’t want to leave (perhaps you’ll treat yourself to a night in the artists' loft bedroom with its bed at sea-level!) you can enjoy the amazing breakfast, it too recently revamped by the chef.
