There's no excuse: you've got until the end of 2025 to go and see the Musée départemental breton in Quimper. Objectif Mer is an unforgettable photo exhibition on the inextricable links between man, sport and the sea. On the programme, two photographers, Valentin Figuier and Jacques de Thézac, take a look at their work from 100 years apart.
A century separates them, yet the sea unites them. The practice of water sports captured by Jacques de Thézac in the early 20th century echoes that of Valentin Figuier today. "Objectif mer" plunges us headfirst into sailing, swimming and gliding, a century apart. Embark on a cruise through time, from the sloops of the fishermen of Cap Sizun to the surfboards of the surfers of Pointe de la Torche. These photographers have taken to the sea, so give it a try... and the sea will take you!
