Witches! Did you say witches? Get ready for a spellbinding exhibition! From early June to mid-November, head to the Musée de Pont-Aven for an exhibition that casts a spell on all clichés!
To mark its 40th anniversary, the museum is joining forces with the prestigious Musée d'Orsay to honour a figure as disturbing as she is captivating: the witch! Feared, rejected and hunted down for centuries, witches have left their mark on the collective imagination as the incarnation of absolute evil... Before becoming a symbol of revolt and resistance in the 19th century, laying the foundations for eco-feminism. Strong, rebellious, magnetic: they crystallise struggles and inspire artists. Painting, sculpture, photography, film, dance, music and literature... all the arts are used to make their voices heard.
