Every year in August and February, a pop breeze blows through Saint-Malo. Devoted entirely to Anglo-Saxon rock, La Route du Rock is back, attracting some 25,000 festival-goers to the corsair town.
Every year since 1991, the radiant, sharing pirates of La Route du Rock have opened their treasure chest full of rock nuggets. Every year, the festival in Saint Malo reaffirms its status as a benchmark for Anglo-Saxon rock. From now on, the recipe for success is like clockwork: a musical siesta on the beach at the foot of the ramparts in the afternoon and a musical climax in the evening in the Vauban fortress of Saint-Père-Marc-en-Poulet. Since 2006, the corsair town has been offering a "Winter Collection" to warm up the month of March.
