From the beginning of December, Quimper by light will be awakening... and it's going to be a blast! With fire as the guiding theme, a festival of light is designing a different kind of town. Street shows, concerts and workshops will take you on a journey through dreams and imagination. A sparkling introduction to the festive season!
With "Passeurs de lumière", Quimper is coming alive in all directions at the end of the year! The programme of festivities is a feast for all the senses. Try your hand at roller dancing on a 300 m2 rink, a sober, sporty and festive alternative to the traditional ice rink. Wander around the city with your nose in the air, admiring the facades as they are lit up. Linger in the Place de la Cathédrale, where the fabulous story of the Firebird unfolds every evening in a shimmer of colour. A parade of puppets, fire shows, a celestial clock, a parade... each day brings its own surprises. And don't forget to pop into the Christmas village on Place Terre au Duc to stock up on local products and crafts. There's no doubt that Quimper is the place to be in December.
