Sounds can be fun. The proof is here in the Centre de Découverte du Son (Sound Discovery Centre) with its musical path, sound garden and bellringers’ trail

Plan on a good two hours to fully appreciate everything that’s on the “sentier musical” (musical path), where all the family can listen, understand and produce a host of sounds. Follow on with the “jardin sonifère”, a sound garden in the form of a giant ear, where sounds are ‘grown’ in flowerbeds – you’ll need at least an hour here. Finish this visit to the world of sound by listening to the bells of surrounding villages in the “circuit campanaire”, or bellringers’ trail. But you’ll need the whole day for that one! Founded and managed by an association created in 1994, the Centre de Découverte du Son is in the Trégor area, in northern Brittany.
