Impasse de la Pompe, 22800 Quintin
If you want two castles for the price of one, then come to the Domaine de Quintin in the heart of Côtes d'Armor. Explore the castles and their ramparts, beautifully situated in French-style gardens, before visiting the superb exhibition of tableware and items related to food and dining down the ages.
When you arrive in the Domaine de Quintin, don't be surprised to find children playing or the house cat prowling around, because this castle is actually inhabited. The Bagneux family and their ancestors have lived here since the 13th century! The current 'châtelaine', Caroline, owner of this exceptional heritage, will take great pleasure in showing you round the two castles - one dating from the 17th century, the other from the 18th - the gardens and furnished rooms, plus the extensive gardens. You should not need any encouragement then to visit the exhibition of tableware, with its magnificent collection of dinner services from the Compagnie des Indes or from Canton in China, and a superb array of silverware and crystal glassware.
