As you approach Rennes, you will come across the Cesson-Sévigné golf course which offers a technical 9-hole on the banks of the river Vilaine. Total escapism a stone throw away from a bustling city.
Boarding the Vilaine River, the Cesson-Sévigné golf course (par 35 over 2,703 m) uses water to best effect to provide a challenge which requires a golfing level of a certain standard! Two of the nine holes on the course are set on a peninsula. The tone is set from the start as you are expected to tackle the most difficult hole. Technical in nature, the course provides an array of aquatic obstacles such as rivers and ponds as well as narrow fairways and tight bends. A well-lit partially-covered practice course enables golfers to try their hand before tackling the course. Equipped with a practice green and a clubhouse, the Cesson-Sévigné golf course is the only golf course inside the Rennes ring road. If you don’t own a car, don’t worry, a 30-minute bus ride will take you directly there from the Thabor Park.
