To let off steam with friends or family and get your fill of thrills, try out the 17 hectares of games and rides at the Récré des 3 Curés, just 10 minutes from Brest. On the menu: the roller coaster and its vertiginous 27-metre drop for the most intrepid, merry-go-rounds, little trains and water slides for the youngest.

The 25-metre Ferris Wheel offers a breathtaking view of the whole park, and will appeal to young and old alike. Once in the gondola, you'll feel gently rocked... Younger children can see themselves as flying aces in the Red Baron, or take a trip to the farm in the Tchou-tchou moutik or the Frogs. Teens, meanwhile, will be in for some delicious scares, firmly ensconced in the seats of the Vertika, or the tallest drop tower in the Grand Ouest, Tremor, at 80 metres high. To make the most of the park, plan to spend the whole day there. On-site accommodation is available at Camping de la Récré. You'll find a shop, restaurant facilities and tree-lined paths offering lovely shady walks."
