Located since 1968 in the heart of Brest in a building dating from the Reconstruction period, the Musée des Beaux-Arts offers an original collection (paintings, sculptures and graphic arts) that is readily associated with the city's maritime vocation.
Go on an exploration through the museum's paintings. Go from Canaletto's Piazza San Marco to the surrealist world of Yves Tanguy. Let yourself be seduced by the contrasting colours of Paul Sérusier's and Georges Lacombe's Nabi paintings. Marvel at the African sculptures by Anna Quinquaud, the parrots by Edouard Manet or the garden by Pierre Bonnard... A collection rich in history and stories! Several times a year, discover the temporary exhibitions that punctuate the life of the museum. Drawings, science, woodcuts, music, video... No field is forgotten in this cultural bubbling.
