In the port of Saint-Nazaire, the Chantiers de l'Atlantique open their XXL doors to you, at the heart of cruise ship construction.

A 900-metre-long hold, a gantry crane that lifts blocks as high as buildings... Chantiers de l'Atlantique employs the utmost means to build its giants of the seas. Did you know that ships as prestigious as the France, the Queen Mary 2 and the Harmony of the Seas were built at the shipyards in Nazaire, which are among the largest, oldest and most innovative in the world? The two-hour guided tour will take you through the "streets" of the shipyards, from the submarine base to the workshops and then to the assembly holds, with an eye on the ships currently in production. It's a comprehensive overview of the site, the successive stages of shipbuilding and its focus on environmental transition.
