In 2021, these two people from Rennes took up the challenge of reviving this former crêperie in the Saint Guénolé district. It's a charming place to stay!
We love everything about this Breton-style crêperie: the antique decor, the stone walls and the Klein blue bar, just like the façade. Marion Michel and Pol Hubert have tastefully brought the old crêperie in Penmarc'h back to life. These two Rennes natives (she was a lawyer, he in finance) converted just before Covid, and surrounded themselves with the best suppliers in the area. The result? They offer buckwheat and wheat crêpes, 90% of which come from Bigoud and 90% from the south of Finistère. Our favourite is the buckwheat pancake with goat's cheese, buckwheat honey, samphire and kasha. The sweet version is the Milky Bigoudène, with butter, sugar and ribot milk ice cream sprinkled with cinnamon. All accompanied by a fine selection of ciders and softs.
