Bouliche

Bistrot in the wind!
  • Restaurant
  • Pur Beurre
16 Rue Ville Pépin, 35400 Saint-Malo
The word "Bouliche" refers to a fishing net... In Saint-Malo extra-muros, you'll be happy to get caught in the net of this lively bistro where you'll want to have your own napkin ring!
Nicolas Polla, owner of the Mignon Café, is continuing to liven up the busy Rue de la Ville-Pépin in Saint-Servan with this bistro, which opened at the end of 2024. From the outset, the warm and inviting setting, with its wooden tables, exposed brickwork and stonework, shelves filled with cookery books and a few "remains" of bottles that have been drunk and approved, makes you feel at home. "We wanted to have fun with local produce, vegetables from the Benaise farm or the Jardins de la Matz, fish, scallops fished by Welga..." explains Nicolas, describing the spirit of the place and its delicious cuisine. He and his team do more than just entertain with a menu that changes with each service, from a starter-main course-dessert menu at lunchtime to plates to share - or not! - in the evening. And make no mistake, everything at Bouliche is home-made, right down to the ice creams and even the bread made with flour from Miette rieuse, in Quévert, near Dinan.
