Quentin Dutheil and Robin Petitpierre cut their teeth in some of Rennes' finest bistronomic restaurants (Bercail, Caneton, la Basse-Cour, etc.) before setting up their own. Driven by the same convictions, these two friends opened their restaurant in December 2024. Located just a stone's throw from the Saint-Georges swimming pool, the name was perfect: La Baignoire. In their small, intimate establishment, regulars and tourists alike immerse themselves in their comforting cuisine and biodynamic or natural keels. Judge for yourself: smoked sausage, mashed potatoes, roast parsnips with pepper sauce or sweet potato gratin, soft-boiled egg, roast leeks and caper sauce. There is always a vegetarian option on the menu. For dessert, the regressive rice pudding with tonka bean and lemon will make you forget that the pool was cold!
