Close to the Vilaine, a traditional brasserie just the way we like it, recognisable by the Odorico mosaics decorating the façade.
The atmosphere is homely, but not dreary. The service is exceptionally professional. Bright and spacious, spotlighting the aquarium and the black and white photos of the sea, the two rooms overlook Place de Bretagne. The chef, with 22 years’ experience, works with noble fish - John Dory, monkfish, turbot, sole, sea bass, etc. - serving them with a white butter, Szechuan pepper, champagne or saffron sauce, accompanied with a selection of over 80 wines. Lobster (grilled, flambéed with cognac, roasted in its shell or cold) is one of the restaurant's classics, along with seafood platters or fish sauerkraut. For dessert, you’ll love the “profiteroles à la bordelaise”.
