In the small port of Damgan, between the Rhuys peninsula and the Vilaine estuary, the Bistrot de la mer, a small local institution, offers fine, light, marine-inspired cuisine based on fresh produce and wild fish.

The atmosphere here is relaxed and family-friendly, with a bistronomic menu that changes with the seasons, offering Breton-inspired dishes with a touch of Asia, sea and flowers. In fine weather, you can sit on the shady terrace and enjoy oysters from Pénerf, mussels from Pénestin or a tapas menu accompanied by a selection of organic wines.
