Unambitious restaurateurs might think that the charm of Dinan harbour is enough to attract tourists... Not the house style!
As well as allowing their customers to enjoy the superb banks of the Rance, the owners pamper them with their demanding approach. Fresh" and "local" are not just empty slogans here, as the restaurant buys its produce from some excellent local producers, including Dimitri Barataud for the mussels, Dame Sauvage for the herbs and young shoots, Bordier for the butter, and so on. In an interior furnished with taste, simplicity and originality, on the vast terrace facing the quayside or in the hidden garden at the back, the bistro-style cuisine hits the spot. Fish from the Erquy fish auction, often accompanied by vegetables from the Ferme de la Raudais just a few kilometres away, are a delight. And the rest? Plenty of other 'good points', including a Fish & Chips dish that's become a staple on the menu, and a cellar that's relevant enough to accompany it all with relevance and gourmandise!
