On the coast of southern Finistère, the small port of Lesconil is home to Le Tara, a favourite haunt for sailors, families and groups of friends. The menu features mainly seafood, but not only...
Under the generic name Madelezh, Vincent Clorennec has a dual activity... Firstly, he preserves wild boar - La Bête Noire by Madelezh -, makes dry sausage and brews his own beers. Secondly, he has taken over the Tara restaurant on the quayside of the port of Lesconil, in the heart of the Bigouden region... Behind the red wood of its architecture, this "seafood canteen", as it says on the front, cooks simply and tastefully with good local produce, but even more so with the resources of the sea landed each day at the auction: fish, seafood and shellfish in the limelight with, of course, the queen of local fishing, the langoustine!
