Corricolo is a pizzeria, grocery shop and wine cellar for lovers of fine Italian and Breton cuisine!
In the village of Plomeur, chef Géraldine Mouëllic opened a pizzeria-grocery-café in the summer of 2024, named Corricolo after the Neapolitan horse-drawn carriage that Alexandre Dumas used to take to Naples. A former lawyer who switched to cooking in 2013, she cut her teeth in some fine restaurants in Rennes, including L'Arsouille and Chez Paul, before returning to Bigouden, where her partner lives. In this cosy restaurant, Géraldine offers a unique vision of pizza, at the crossroads of Italy and Brittany. She has given this classic dish a new lease of life, using local, seasonal produce and daring compositions. To get away from the traditional tomato or cream bases, she has come up with original alternatives based on vegetables or pulses. One of her creations is a carrot-based pizza, topped with candied onions, roasted chard, caraway tomme, carrot pickles and a coriander pesto. It's all the work of a true craftsman to surprise your taste buds, by bringing out the best in local produce... and the best of the Italian boot.
