Opposite the oyster park, Calypso is a local favourite for grilled fish in a bistro atmosphere.
In a former fisherman's house facing the Anse du Pô, lovers of grilled fish and old-fashioned bistros have made Calypso their home. It's a place where you come to savour iodised cuisine. They stay for the warm, relaxed atmosphere, led by owner Alexandru Carausu. A long way from the hustle and bustle of Carnac, locals and travellers in search of wood-fired cuisine are not mistaken. Turbot, scallops, sole, red mullet, monkfish kebabs, everything is cooked in the hearth, including the coveted lobster. For meat-eaters, there's also an entrecôte on the menu. Depending on the season, you can also enjoy a salad of langoustines with ginger, mackerel apples in oil or warm oysters... A marine interlude to be enjoyed to the full.
