Press pack for 2026 – Come as a tourist, leave as a Breton

You were dubious when you set off. After all, Brittany’s the end of the world. As far as you know, it’s just sea, squalls and butter cakes. And if you want the sun, you’ve really got to go looking for it. But each step you take and each word you exchange give you an odd feeling. You’re not a tourist, not at all – you’re a Breton among the Bretons.

You take the trails your friends recommend. Brocéliande no longer has any secrets for you. Instead of a glass of wine, there’s a bowl of cider in your hands. You leave the café with a timidly spoken ‘Kenavo’. The greatest Netflix series aren’t worth a thing compared with the show put on by the tides.

That’s it – you’ve let Brittany well and truly in. On the way back, memories intermingle. And deep inside you, you know this first excursion won’t be the last. Because we always return to where we feel at home.

Come as a tourist, leave as a Breton.
