5 New Year’s resolutions for 2026 … that you’ll really keep

January, the month of New Year’s resolutions, vision boards and “this year, I’m changing everything” boasts. We all know how they end up…But what if, this time, you did things differently? And what if we gave you a helping hand? Because when you take a closer look, all good resolutions seem to lead to Brittany. Coincidence? Not really. Here, above all, they turn into real experiences to enjoy.

« I adopt a dog and go travelling with it!” »

So, your four-legged friend deserves a dream holiday too? Nose to the wind, lead in hand, we’re already imagining walks along the beach, hikes in the fresh air and frequent crepes breaks (for two…if the dog arrives). Not adopted yet? No worries: Brittany can be experienced just as enjoyably with not a dog in sight. Cosy accommodation, dog-friendly beaches and great ideas on sniffing out the seaspray in complete freedom: with or without a dog, your Breton getaways promise to be joyful, intimate and resolutely successful.

Let’s go, hair in the wind!

“This year, I’m going to develop my creative streak”

Even if you’re all thumbs it’s possible. Promise! No need to be Picasso: it’s enough just to want to have a go. And to start you off, there’s nothing quite like a weekend in Brittany in discovery of its paint-your-own-pottery cafés. Instead of leaving with a Bigouden key ring (that’s right – the sort of thing everybody’s already handed out), you come home with your very own Breton lug bowl: a unique item – not perfect of course, but 100% you. And frankly, it’s just as nice as a fridge magnet.

“This year, it’s happening – I’m going to run my first half-marathon”

Three flights of stairs and already out of breath? Rest assured, with a little training anything’s possible. Off to Brittany! Here, there are trails all year round suited to all levels, from the curious jogger out to test their limits to the future champion in search of panoramas to add to their collection. Beaches, forests, moorlands… it’s up to you to choose your playground and let the salty sea air fill your lungs. Each trail is a victory, each climb a source of pride, and each arrival a perfect excuse to raise your arms in triumph… and enjoy a well-deserved crepe.

“My New Year’s resolution this year? Enjoy the sea…even in the middle of winter!””

Sensitive to the cold? We can already imagine you snuggled up under a quilt. Yet Brittany’s got more than one asset to tempt you out of your cocoon: thalassotherapy. Just imagine floating in seawater heated to 35°C, lulled by the ripples of a spa pool facing the ocean. Then it’s time to surrender to a heated seaweed mask. Whoever said you had to shiver if you wanted to enjoy the sea in winter?

I want my 35°C

“This year, it’s settled – I’m off to discover new flavours”
