Charming addresses on the GR®34

To combine seaside strolls and cocooning

All along the Breton coast, the GR®34 promises breathtaking views and lovely family strolls. But that’s not all! Here are five charming addresses, close to this famous coastal path, to prolong your enjoyment.

In the blink of an eye

1. At the end of the world

“Les Galets blancs” holiday homes in Le Conquet

Here, on the Kermorvan Peninsula in Le Conquet, the most western segment of the GR®34, you’ll feel like you’re at the end of the world. The “Galets Blancs” consists of two holiday homes and one independent penty, each with their advantages. Private access to the sea, a breathtaking view of the port or a beautiful terrace overlooking the ria. What they have in common: decoration that combines old charm and modern comfort. The “Sentier des Douaniers” coastal path runs behind the property, along the long Blancs Sablons beach.

2. Just like at home

Villa Les Hydrangeas in Perros-Guirec

You’ll love the cosy décor featuring designer, antique and Scandinavian style furniture and a cocooning spirit at Villa Les Hydrangeas in Perros-Guirec. In this 3-star hotel, Aurélie and her team want everyone to feel at home here. A former boarding house, the pink granite building from the 1930s and its contemporary wing now accommodate sixteen bedrooms, including two family suites and an aparthotel. Most have a view of the sea and the Sept-Îles archipelago in the distance. The garden gives direct access to the GR®34 coastal path which passes just below. When you get back from your walk, give in to the temptation of a home-made pastry served in the tea room… or enjoy a meal at the Table de la Villa, the restaurant with a breathtaking view of the sea.

4. Family Zen time

Le Lodge de Keruster

At the entrance to the pretty Doëlan harbour and 30 minutes from Lorient, we present Lodge de Keruster. In this modestly decorated house, with a breath-taking sea view, there are three rooms and a suite to comfortably welcome families, or your friends if you prefer. Sun loungers, a barbecue, a large terrace and a really well-equipped kitchen and, what’s that over there? There, just in front the house, is the coastal path. Perfect for strolling along beaches and coves, in every season. In the spring or in cooler periods, underfloor heating and soft blankets are provided. So, what do you think? September or August?

4. Holiday spirit

Keregal Holiday Cottages in Plouha

A deliciously rural spirit reigns in the six holiday homes and two bedrooms nestled in the hamlet of Keragal. Well-sheltered behind prettily weathered walls where roses and wisteria climb, the spacious and bright rooms in soft tones combine modern comfort and retro touches. A five-minute walk away, the GR®34 will take you to the highest cliffs in Brittany, where you will be guaranteed breathtaking sea views. A haven of peace, ideal for a break away as a couple or a family.

5. Feet in the water

Hôtel Castel’Ach in Plouguerneau

14 rooms, including… 14 with sea view! Built with its feet in the water, a stone’s throw from the beach of Lilia crossed by the GR®34, in Plouguerneau, the 3-star Hotel Castel’Ach offers a breathtaking panorama of the Aber Wrac’h estuary. Here, the sea invites itself into the plates. In the restaurant, the inventive cuisine of chef David Royer features fish, shellfish, seaweed… To be savoured on the heated terrace, to the invigorating sound of the waves.
