At the bottom of the tallest lighthouse in Europe, the Tyrheun eco-lodge is a little fisherman’s house renovated in the spirit of a boat.

There are nautical charts on the wall, a marine-themed mosaic bathroom and a catamaran net that acts as a hanging mezzanine! The sea isn't far away for sure! A five-minute walk from the islands, the lighthouses, the crêpe restaurant and the oyster bar, Tyrheun has three bedrooms, one living room and a wood pellet stove, all in a pretty little house with south-facing terrace and garden courtyard. A cosy nest, all in wood, to enjoy Brittany in ecological mode with a vintage nod to formica. With Plouguerneau as your home port, you’ll coast along the foreshore to discover the abers along the Sentier des Douaniers (GR 34), dotted with secret creeks. At the intersection between the Channel and the Atlantic, Ile Vierge lighthouse (82 m) is opposite the little Reun beach, accessible by boat, kayak or foot at low tide.
