Every year more than 800,000 people climb aboard the Lorient Express - not to try and solve a murder mystery, but to enjoy the crème de la crème of Celtic music . At the end-of-the-line it's time to get off and have some fun at Brittany's biggest Celtic music festival.

Music-wise, as well as concerts, there are workshops, masterclasses and competitions and you’re as likely to witness a demonstration of Scottish bagpipes playing as the Breton version of the instrument. The Interceltique also attracts renowned pop artists like The Cranberries One striking feature of this great manifestation of Celtic pride is a parade of Celtic nations, which sees thousands of dancers, musicians and singers step out together in traditional dress.
