Until 3 January 2026, head to the Mathurin Méheut Museum for an exhibition that's sure to spark your prehistoric imagination!
Diplodocus, pterodactyls, ichthyosaurs, mammoths... Under the brushes of Méheut and Yvonne Jean-Haffen, these extinct creatures are brought back to life! Produced between 1942 and 1947, these 25 monumental canvases combine scientific rigour with artistic élan. Around them, fossils, contemporary works and pop culture objects tell the story of the birth of palaeo-art and the dinomania that followed. It's an exhibition where art brings to life the creatures of the past... and the imaginations of young and old alike!
