Description
Every year, the Auriculaires take to the stage for the Fisel Festival’s wild dance rounds. On the programme: dance, as well as music from the Celtic world and beyond. Life at a *fest noz* – what more could you ask for?
You don’t need to be Nostradamus to predict this phenomenon. Every year, at the end of August, the ‘noz trad’ delights lovers of Celtic culture and visitors curious about these unusual rituals. It all began with a dance competition held in Bonen, but the energy soon spilled over from the Celtic Circle to fill the streets of Rostronen. Now based at the Kenroperzh racecourse, the festival now welcomes 6,000 festival-goers eager to get to grips with the plinn and the gavotte, but also to enjoy a musical programme that’s wide open to fusion: Irish or Ethiopian music, gypsy swing or electro… When and where? Every year, at the end of August, in Rostronen. Nostradamus is no match for the great marabout of Fisel!
