Abbaye de Daoulas

Of course, people come to Daoulas to visit the remains of the Romanesque abbey, and admire the oratory and fountain... But they also come to stroll through its medicinal plant garden, inspired by the Middle Ages, which boasts no fewer than 250 species of condiment, therapeutic, aromatic and exotic plants on two levels... It's the perfect opportunity to improvise a natural science lesson with the kids! Continue your walk through the new 5-hectare collection of medicinal trees and shrubs. You'll also come across a collection of photographs presented in the open air as part of the "Balades photographiques de Daoulas", a pond and even some Ouessant sheep... Situated in the land of travellers and explorers, Daoulas Abbey has been organising exhibitions based on the meeting of cultures for nearly 25 years.
