Step aboard the submarine Flore-S645 and discover the daily lives of submariners. You’ll be able to relive the great history of the 20th century, as seen from Lorient.

The submarine Flore-S645 and its museum are situated at the heart of the K2 bunker on the former submarine base. The immersive experience begins as soon as you enter: the imposing door to the submarine bay is 10 metres high and weighs over 30 tonnes – truly impressive! An interactive museum will take you on a journey through the history of Lorient – a strategic port, particularly during the Second World War – and the human and technological adventure behind these mysterious submarines, brought to life through sound and images. Equipped with an audio guide recounting the memories of former submariners and their life on board, you will then explore the interior of the submarine Flore-S645. For children, a fun, interactive and engaging activity trail (via a smartphone app) will accompany them on their visit.
