Over the course of a 90-minute stroll along the ramparts of the pirate city, his 11 stories, each lasting between 3 and 8 minutes, will take you on a journey through the history of the city and its construction. Through the characters of Jules, a young nurse, and Marcel, an 85-year-old local, you’ll discover the voyages of Jacques Cartier, the adventures of famous privateers and the history of the cod fishery all the way to Newfoundland. The quality of the narration, the sound effects and the music create such a total immersion that you’ll be reluctant to take off your headphones. Fortunately, there are other immersive walks in Rennes and Belle-Île-en-Mer, so you can repeat the experience on your own, in a group or with the whole family.
