Description
In the Bigouden region, the BAP - for "fish bar" - is opening its doors with the aim of putting seafood and local produce back at the heart of the plate.
In a former presbytery outbuilding on the Pointe de la Torche road, Baptiste Frérot and Susanna Nordström, both graduates of the Lausanne hotel school, have created a new kind of establishment. Designed around deep blues and touches of bright orange reminiscent of buoys and fishing ports, this vibrant canteen celebrates 100% iodised cuisine. Here, everyone can create their own experience to suit their tastes: a counter service restaurant with a menu that changes according to arrivals, a grocery shop to take a few seafood delicacies to the beach, or a fishmonger to extend the experience at home. With the scent of sea spray, freshly landed fish and a friendly atmosphere, BAP has established itself as a modern and welcoming address for lovers of marine flavours.
