Description
Just a stone’s throw from Saint-Lunaire beach, Comète attracts food lovers who want to treat themselves whilst looking after the planet.
To call your restaurant ‘Comète’ when you live in Saint-Lunaire, you’ve got to have your head in the clouds a bit. In any case, if you love old-world charm and wholesome cuisine, this former townhouse—now converted into a bed-and-breakfast and restaurant—is the place for you. Stepping into this establishment feels just like entering a private home. Run by a couple from Rennes, Victor Nicolas and Angelina Huriaux, Comète has been winning over a loyal clientele for the past six years. It must be said that the finesse of the dishes is matched only by the chef’s warm welcome. Victor carefully selects market produce as well as the wines on his list. Here, there’s no meat – just seafood and produce from local growers. Every moment of the day has its place at Comète: coffee breaks, breakfast and afternoon tea are also available in the tea room. And to extend the experience, a few guest rooms are nestled just above the restaurant. One thing is certain: Comète will leave a lasting impression on you.
