Description

An institution in Rennes city centre, La Chope has been cultivating the warm atmosphere of the great French brasseries for decades, with its retro decor and traditional cuisine.
Situated on rue de la Chalotais, in the heart of Rennes, La Chope has stood the test of time without losing a beat. Red benches, antique mirrors, quotations on the walls and portraits of artists make up a warm, lively decor, faithful to the spirit of the brasseries of yesteryear. On the à la carte menu, the great French classics are served with carefully selected produce, including scallops from the Bay of Saint-Brieuc and poultry from Janzé. Upstairs, a large dining room can accommodate up to 50 people for group meals or private events. A timeless address that appeals to both regulars and fans of retro ambience.
