At Rochefort-en-Terre you can enjoy stone buildings, the expertise of the town’s craftsmen, and glorious panoramic views all offered by this little character town perched high up on its rocky outcrop. You’ll also appreciate the peaceful Camping Au gré des Vents, sheltered in the wooded foothills. The campsite has about sixty grass plots that are partly shaded and partly in the sun. There are also a dozen comfortable mobile homes, caravans with awnings and canvas chalet style homes on a wooden terrace. There’s a refreshing open-air heated pool, as well as a number of games facilities and open-air activities including tennis courts, basketball hoops, trampoline and see-saws. There’s also a snack-bar and a top-up grocery store. A little further away there’s a lake that’s great for bathing, hiring pedal boats, hiking and mountain-biking.
