The two-star Grève Blanche campsite is a friendly, unpretentious campsite right by the ocean, surrounded by the Aber Wrach estuary, just a stone’s throw from the beach. The plots are set out on terraces with sweeping panoramic views, and on site activities include the opportunity to try some Breton cake specialities, or have a go at some traditional Breton dancing – a sing-song might even be on the menu as well! Hot drinks and fresh bread are available. Plouguerneau’s 45km coastline is a truly untamed landscape, and the Ile Vierge lighthouse, the tallest in Europe, is here too, keeping a watchful eye over the town. Don’t miss the medieval necropolis Iliz Coz, with its many buried knights and artists, and stop by the village buried under sand just a 2 minute walk from the Camping de la Grève Blanche.
