Walkers and cyclists making their way along the Nantes - Brest canal often stop over at Les Cerisiers campsite to recharge their batteries in its lush green surroundings.

It's a haven of greenery clinging to the canal, just two kilometres from the medieval town of Josselin. The aptly-named Camping des Cerisiers has around thirty quiet, spacious grass pitches under the fruit trees. In addition to several mobile homes, there are 2 transparent bubbles, 3 cocosweet, 3 cocos duo, 2 Tipis and a Lodge tent. The Dkabane, a funny little tent that looks like a stagecoach, is ideal for hikers and cyclists. The Campétoile accommodates visitors without tents under the starry sky in a strange raised wooden shelter. Well-known to hikers and cyclists who travel up the Nantes-Brest canal (800 m), Les Cerisiers offers a range of useful services: a laundry, a convenience store and Wi-Fi access throughout the campsite. There's a play area for young and old, a free-access library, table football, table tennis, a bowling green, bike hire and a mini-farm. The snack bar is sure to satisfy evening munchies and breakfast hunger pangs. In the surrounding area, you'll love the pretty towns of Malestroit, Lizio and Rochefort-en-Terre, all of which are full of character.
