Rediscover the simple things in life at this small, environmentally friendly campsite at the heart of Mont Saint-Michel bay.

A smile, a hello, a cup of coffee, birdsong...” - that’s Magali Mancel’s recipe for starting the day in a good mood. The owner of Camping Les Couesnons fosters a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at her site, which has 50 pitches and 8 mobile-homes as well as a bubble tent and a gypsy caravan. It's a good base for combining leisure activities and cultural visits. On foot, by bike or on horseback, the surrounding trails lead to surprisingly beautiful landscapes and pretty villages of character. Nearby you can also go climbing, sand- yachting and kayaking. If you have time, don’t miss a ride on the Train Marin (Seaside Train) that leaves Cherueix to cross the bay: Philippe Renard, a real enthusiast, will tell you in detail about the lives of local fishermen and mussel farmers. When you get back, you can sample mussels, oysters and regional produce served in the campsite’s traditional restaurant.
