A reasonably priced municipal site in the heart of the forest of Paimpont, immersed in Arthurian legend!

Step inside the campsite and be immersed in Celtic mythology! The 90 plots and pretty chalets (rented out by the year) nestle beside the Paimpont forest and lake, a magnificent backdrop to a beautiful 13th Century abbey. Guests can swim, go boating on the water, and enjoy scenic walks through the protected natural site nearby, that harbours the carnivorous sundew plant, coleanthus grass and the pilularia fern. It’s quite common to spot kingfishers and grey herons on the shores too. The legends of the Round Table are never far away - the Barenton fountain is nearby, as is the Centre de l’Imaginaire arthurien (Arthurian Story Centre) at Comper château. The campsite itself keeps the Arthurian spirit alive with walks accompanied by stories and songs!
