Facing the Isle of Groix, the 3 star La Belle Plage campsite deserves its name, as it is indeed beside a beautiful, sandy beach.

Just a stone's throw from Lorient, La Belle Plage campsite is wrapped around the little cove of Le Stole, with its fine sandy beach, watched over by lifeguards in the summer. Spread over 4 ha, the spacious campsite has 240 pitches separated by natural hedges. It also houses fifty or so mobile homes that can accommodate up to six people. Here, modern comforts are combined with a family atmosphere. Just a short distance from the local village shops in Lomener, La Belle Plage has something for everyone including a children's club, activities for teenagers and theme nights. The campsite's snack bar also provides newspapers and fresh bread. A 'pétanque' (French boules) pitch and a play area complete the facilities on offer. At the entrance to the campsite you can catch the bus to Lorient and then on to the Isle of Groix or the Eric Tabarly Cité de la Voile sailing and exhibition centre. There are lots of pretty places to visit in the surrounding area too: the Poul-Fétan Village Museum, the 'ville-close' citadel in Concarneau and Pont-Aven, a magnet for painters.
