Wooden cabins nestling in a green setting, with an uninterrupted view of Pont-Aven and the cosy comfort of cliffside accommodation... The proposition would have seduced the Impressionist painters of the 19th century. But what about you?

Did you think you had to choose between the charm of a wooden cabin and the comfort of a cosy gîte? Then you've got to check out Carrière Sauvage, in Pont-Aven! Set in an old wooded quarry 350 metres from the town centre, the pretty Sève, Sépale and Castille huts on the cliffside are unusual, charming and even mysterious. At the heart of the estate, a large meadow - the clearing - becomes the children's favourite playground, with skittles, badminton and impromptu cricket. For the grown-ups, there's a jacuzzi, hidden from view, where they can relax and unwind. The attentions of Johanna, the owner, add to the magic of this suspended place.
