Just before the Blavet flows into the ocean, the Domaine de Locguénolé opens up like a well-kept secret. Between Kervignac and Lorient, in the heart of an immense 25-hectare wooded park, this is a magical place that combines elegance, nature and maritime history. The 44 rooms and suites are divided between four buildings: the Château, the Manoir, the Orangerie and the Club. Each offers a unique blend of 18th-century and modern furnishings. To complete the experience, three atypical accommodations dot the estate: a boat transformed into a suite, a former henhouse turned family cocoon, and a caretaker's cottage transformed into a Baroque villa. Here, life follows the rhythm of the tides. The Blavet, still a river but already an arm of the sea, stretches out at the foot of the estate. From the private pontoon, you can take a sailboat or stroll along the water's edge. Heated outdoor pool, hammam, sauna, massages... Everything you need to free your body and mind. As for the cuisine, l'Inattendu, a Michelin-starred restaurant, lives up to its name: a refined table where products from the sea meet those from the vegetable garden. For a more relaxed atmosphere, Maison Alyette offers a generous menu on the garden level, with a terrace overlooking a clearing that slopes gently down to the aber. Life in a castle!
