In Dinan, the Hôtel du Château is ideally placed for exploring the medieval city and the Pays de la Rance countryside. This cosy, family hotel has been completely refurbished and offers proximity and the possibility of doing everything on foot.

In the heart of Dinan between the historic centre and the harbour, the Hôtel du Château offers 35 rooms for two to five people, including nine rooms with their own private terrace. The hotel has been completely refurbished and, behind its stone façade, there is a modern but cosy interior, with a décor in natural tones, enhanced with touches of bright colour. As a tribute to Victor Hugo and Juliette Drouet, who stayed here, witty quotations from Hugo’s poetry decorate the walls above the bedheads. The view from the windows, over the maze of rooftops of the medieval old town, reminds you of Dinan’s history. The tourist office is close by, but you can also ask the hotel's young, family-friendly staff when you’re looking for tips on where to eat. When you’ve left your car in the hotel’s car park, you can wander around the ramparts and steep back streets or explore the castle or half-timbered houses. Starting from the harbour, the banks of the River Rance can also provide beautiful walks along the estuary.
