The Hotel du Port et de l'Aven has been in the same family for 4 generations. It comprises the hotel/restaurant with its 10 bedrooms, overlooking the port, and a second, more modern building, higher up in the village with 21 rooms. Choose the Hotel du Port for its view and its panoramic restaurant overlooking the Aven and Belon estuaries. If you prefer peace and quiet, choose the Aven, with its larger rooms with views out to sea or over the garden - some of which are family rooms. In either case, make sure you dine at least once in the restaurant with its newly acquired 'Bib Gourmand' from Michelin, or opt for the very reasonably priced half-board. Close by you are spoilt for choice: Saint-Nicolas beach with its Belle Époque changing cabins, Rospico gardens and the coastal footpaths to the Pointe de Raguenez or the river Aven using the long-distance path (GR 34).
