Hôtel - restaurant Roc'h Ar Mor

A natural and eco-friendly holiday on the edge of the world
  • Hotel - restaurant
Lampaul, 29242 Ouessant
In the hollow of Lampaul Cove, facing the sea, the Roc’h ar Mor is a historical hotel and restaurant in Ouessant. Renovated following an eco-friendly approach, it has joined the Route des Pingouins and proposes a full discovery trip in synergy with the island's stakeholders.
Ouessant is the first piece of land in Brittany; the last stop before America. With its wind-battered cliffs, creeks and moors, it feels like the edge of the world. In the midst of this authentic nature, at the exit of Lampaul, facing the sea but well protected, Le Roc’h ar Mor is the ideal base for sharing the life of the island and its inhabitants. Renovated and managed following an eco-friendly approach, the hotel has 15 bright rooms over three floors. The restaurant and its terrace offer a breath-taking view of the ocean. Julien Robert, chef of Castel Ac’h and winner of the Gault & Millaut naturalness prize, and his brigade, serve up fine and inventive cuisine, in harmony with the region: oysters from Plouguerneau, seaweed from Iroise, vegetables from the allotment in Kergroadez… An essential step on the Route des Pingouins, along the tip of the Finistère and the GR 34, Le Roc’h ar Mor can also host your celebrations and receptions and design tailor-made events.
