An old thatched cottage and its more modern small hotel in the heart of the 'City of Artists'

The Hotel Chaumière Roz Aven is opposite the marina at the mouth of the Aven, and has been tastefully renovated to welcome art lovers and ramblers alike. If you are in one of the four spacious rooms in the cottage, with their exposed beams and period furniture, you look out over the river. The 10 more contemporary style rooms in the hotel offer a choice of view - the port, the river or the gardens. Returning from your walk along the banks of the river or your visits to the many art galleries, you will adore the sunny terrace, and the little enclosed garden and charming tea room where you can enjoy a little snack or some tapas. If you are looking for more sophisticated cuisine you will be spoilt for choice, as the neighbourhood has no fewer than three Michelin starred restaurants, and two that sport Michelin’s Bib Gourmand!
