Located on a former farm, the little Camping de la Roche camping & caravan site is named after the large nearby rock which, according to Rabelais, got stuck in Gargantua the Giant’s boot. In the heart of the countryside, the site offers 25 grass pitches for tents and caravans, as well as four mobile homes complete with terrace and canopy. Camper vans are welcome and the site also welcomes guests on horse-back. A playground for children, table tennis table in the barn, volleyball court, two donkeys and a goat in the meadow all go to complete the rural, sporting facilities. From there a short walk to the top of Mont-Dol (65 m) is all that is needed to take in both the marshes and polders (fields reclaimed from the sea) at a glance. A crêpe in Saint-Malo? A trip to Mont-Saint-Michel? A spot of sand-yachting on the coast? Numerous excursions and activities are available within a radius of only 30 km.
