Every year, you'll find your little fingers twitching as you join in the frenzied rhythms of the Fisel festival. On the programme: dance, but also music from the Celtic world and beyond. Life in (fest) noz, what more could you ask for?

You don't need to be called Nostradamus to predict this phenomenon. Every year, at the end of August, the noz trad' event entertains lovers of Celtic culture and curious strangers to these unusual rites. It all started with a dance competition in Bonen, but the energy soon spread beyond the Cercle Celtique and into the streets of Rostronen. The festival has since moved to the Kenroperzh racecourse, and today welcomes 6,000 festival-goers eager to try their hand at the plinn and the gavotte,...
