In the Becam family, the passion for cooking is in its 3rd generation. Grandma, inventor of the delicious ‘brochettes de Saint-Jacques Jeanne Y’ (skewered scallops), set the ball rolling in 1952 and the tradition has been carried on by son Hervé and his wife Yvonne. Fresh fish and shellfish, organic meats, forgotten vegetables - Hervé decides what to cook according to what the fishermen land, and adds typical Breton flavours. Daughter Solène and her husband Nicolas are ready to pick up the baton. They have already reshaped part of the hotel in a subtle mixture of ancient and modern. Fine antique furniture, designer colours, Breton earthenware from Henriot and abstract paintings by local artists – the hotel is a treat for eyes and taste-buds.
