Musée "La Maison de la Pêche"

Originally, there was a trawler called Au Gré des vents. Saved from the wreckage by a handful of determined locals, the ship was refloated to showcase the history of sardine fishing and the world of fishermen. While waiting to set sail again, the sardinier has become the backdrop for a unique escape game. On the neighbouring quay, the Maison de la pêche (Fishing Centre) tells the story of La Turballe, the rise of canneries and the evolution of fishing techniques. Want to find out more? The association organises informative tours of the town, the port and the fish market at dawn, not forgetting the star sardine boat and the Kerbroué windmill (18th century), which has been reopened to produce flour. And why not get down to some practical work? Au gré des vents also runs a whole host of workshops. Sailor's knots and Touline apples will hold no secrets for you!
